Aiwa’s “sweet spot” in India: the Japanese brand is back with a new strategy for televisions


In the late 1990s, Japanese electronics brand Aiwa partnered with an independent entrepreneur, Kabir Mulchandani, to sell its consumer electronics products. Founder of Baron International, Mulchandani, then 26, had already shaken up the television market by teaming up with another Japanese actor, Akai.
