From girl group singer to solo artist and successful actress, Camila Cabello is at the top of her game! In honor of the September 3 release of Amazon Prime Video’s 2021 reimagining of “Cinderella” – in which Camila plays the titular heroine – Wonderwall.com looks back on some of the star’s most memorable fashion moments, best to, um, not so good. The first one standing? This model look she wore during London Fashion Week in 2018. As she roamed the English capital, the singer “Señorita” donned this ultra-chic beige leather coat by Givenchy, which she teamed up with to a white blouse, distressed denim and pointy heels. A detail that we loved? The matching thick beige belt!

Unfortunately, not all looks can be a hit. Take, for example, this peculiar-looking tailoring that Camila Cabello wore with thigh-high boots to the Los Angeles premiere of “Cinderella” in August 2021. Embroidered silver bodice and black puffed skirt – that could have been cute in theory, he missed the mark in execution.

But the ensemble Camila Cabello wore for another “Cinderella” premiere – one in her hometown of Miami in September 2021 – was a different story. The singer-actress looked beautiful, young and playful in a huge yellow tulle skirt by Christian Siriano which she teamed with a relaxed white sleeveless crop top by x karla. The only thing we didn’t like? That piece of curly hair stuck to her forehead.

At the 2018 EMA MTV, Camila Cabello not only won four awards (Best Artist, Best Video, Best Song, and Best American Act) – she looked like a sartorial dream too! That night, the “Havana” hitmaker wore this red Alex Perry maxi dress that featured a flattering boneless bodice. To make the dress shine, Camila opted for simple jewelry: a pair of diamond hoops, a Norman Silverman cuff and bracelets. 2018, however, was not without hiccups …
At the 38th annual BRIT Awards in 2018, Camilla Cabello wore this Ralph & Russo chiffon dress. Don’t get me wrong, we love the powder blue color on her, but there were a few things that caught us off guard – like the keyhole cutout, ruffled waistline, and that criss-cross neckline. Yet we were fans of his De Beers jewelry!
A big “yes” from us! At Paris Fashion Week in September 2019, Camila Cabello made her runway debut at Le Défilé L’Oréal Paris in this chic and sultry pantsuit paired with a thin black tie – shirtless! From her straightened locks to her simple gold hoops, this “Shameless” singer looked stunning.
In 2017, Camila Cabello sported one of her most bizarre looks. At the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards, the former Fifth Harmony member wore this ensemble by Philosophy Di Lorenzo Serafini consisting of a ruffled and lace blouse and white leather pants and aadded a black-brimmed hat and white boots. Although we gave it accessories for color coordination, this set ultimately did not impress.
Talk about redemption! At the 18th Annual Latin Grammy Awards in 2017, Camila Cabello looked like an ethereal dream. The “Don’t Go Yet” singer walked the red carpet in a Monique Lhuillier watercolor confection that featured a plunging neckline and a pink tie around the waist. The voluminous tulle skirt and tulle shoulders made her look like something straight out of a fairy tale!
Just when we thought we had Camila Cabello’s style, she threw us for a curl. At the Global Awards in 2020, the Grammy winner wore this set from Dolce & Gabbana’s fall 2020 collection. While we enjoy the rose embellishments and the flattering corset, the long shirt sides looked messy and her miniskirt was too short.
When she hits the target, she really hits it! At the 2020 Grammy Awards, Camila Cabello arrived on the red carpet in this alluring goth-inspired high-low tailoring with a sheer black lace bodice and a voluminous skirt that opens up the front. The dress from Atelier Versace’s Fall 2019 collection didn’t disappoint – we loved its dramatic appeal. The icing on the cake was the nearly 1,000 carats of Le Vian diamonds that she added with her accessories.
At the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, Camila Cabello opted for this dull Givenchy dress. From her crisp black bodice to her layered white fringe skirt, it looked like an amalgamation of two disparate dresses.
For the Elle Women in Music 2019 event in New York City, Camila Cabello looked ready to picnic – and we wish we could have joined her! The Cuban-American beauty attended the event in this black and white gingham mini dress by Rasario. We love the way she chose little to no jewelry and minimalist sandals from Aquazzura, creating a simple yet sweet summer look.
While red has proven to be a flattering color on Camila Cabello, there is something wrong with this strapless Vivienne Westwood dress she wore to the 2018 Grammy Awards. The “Cinderella” star certainly turned heads in the silk dress, but it seemed to us more dated than timeless.
Camila Cabello in fluffy velvet? We are there for that ! For the Save the Children 2019 Centennial Gala in New York City, the “Familia” singer opted for a sultry strapless dress with a killer cuckoo panel on the bodice from Tom Ford’s Fall 2019 collection.
On a visit to London in 2019, Camila Cabello was seen strolling the city in this black and white polka dot mini dress from enduring couture label Ronald van der Kemp. Don’t get me wrong – Camila looked incredibly chic – but the look was a bit busy with the “PERFECT” belt, eyelet heels and newsboy cap.
In 2018, Camila Cabello looked cute and comfy when she visited SiriusXM Studios in New York City wearing a ribbed white turtleneck, lightly washed denim and white boots. We loved the coordinating white pieces and the trendy chain belt.
It’s a “no” on our part. Camila Cabello was spotted on the streets of London in 2017 in this… quite peculiar set of stripes, misplaced frills and – you guessed it! – a newsboy cap. There was too much going on here, making us regret that it wasn’t all about one daring element.
At the Vanity Fair 2019 Oscars party, Camila Cabello channeled her inner princess in this romantic Monique Lhuillier confection. She opted for one of her favorite silhouettes – a voluminous ball gown-style skirt – adorned with black and white lace.
Of course, there’s no denying how amazing Camila Cabello’s figure looked in that white Balmain outfit she wore to the 2019 MTV VMAs. But if you ask us, that dress was pretty weird. It was like a swimsuit and shawl rather than a cohesive dress.
At the 61st Grammy Awards in 2019, Camila Cabello made a beautifully bold statement in this shimmering, bodycon long sleeve dress from Armani Privé. The sexy magenta dress – which featured an open back and high neckline – was one of our favorite red carpet looks that year.
The Oscar de la Renta dress which Camila Cabello worn at the 47th Annual American Music Awards in 2019 had all the makings of a standout red carpet look, but it kind of fell short. We loved the strapless bodice and intricate embroidery, but paired with the high-low silhouette and neutral hue, the dress failed to make a lasting impression.
