MPME Awards: AND Rise Top MPMEs Ranking Awards: here are the winners

The year 2021 began in a world that struggled with Covid and its variants. We’re not out of the woods yet. The MSME sector, considered to be the backbone of the Indian economy, has been severely battered due to the pandemic as many micro, small and medium enterprises have been forced to close. India has around 63 million MSMEs, which create 110 million jobs. The damage was widespread and penetrated to the bottom of the economic pyramid.

Despite the challenges, small businesses across the country have shown tremendous courage. Harsh times have caused them to display a mixture of courage, resilience and the never-say -in spirit of human beings. The second edition of the ET Rise Top MSMEs has targeted and honored local MSMEs who have exemplified this spirit.

The ET Rise MPME ranking is divided into four categories:

  • The most innovative MSMEs
  • Most exporting MSMEs
  • Fastest Growing MSMEs
  • Most efficient MSMEs

The ET Rise team and our partners have evaluated thousands of MSME entries in industries ranging from textile manufacturers to automotive component manufacturers, IP solutions, logistics solution providers and much more across the world. ‘India to ensure fairness and robustness of the evaluation.
